Went for a quick lunch today. Place was empty. For an English pub not to serve cider is wild. The Fish and chips was missing the seasoning and was not fried properly. The batter wasn’t all the way cooked through. Bartender was super cool, he deserves to be in a busier spot. The back bar was blown out, it was more than 1/2 empty looks like they need a beer and liquor order. No manager on duty, no music, no vibe, not returning. 55$ was a little steep as well. Bummer. Went in for onion burger for burger week. Was not that impressed by the burger. Beef pattie was good the onions kinda threw off the taste. Had an order of the putine fries, wayy salty barely any gravy on it for the ammount of fries and one slice of cheese not worth 16 bucks for a starter. I wouldn't come back here imo.
Really bad. The pizza was soggy, and we ordered the burger medium rare and it came well done. I don't recommend this place for the price.
Reservation is needed but it is a great place to go in down-town Royal Oak. Food is great service is excellent!
