Staff there are nice but they recommended Drake English of Carolina Hot Tub Solutions for repairs. He never answers the phone or responds to texts. He no called and no showed appointments. Then he made a repair that did not fix my tub, ghosted me for three weeks and then sent me a bill and threatened legal action against me when I didn’t pay right away. I won’t shop there anymore and can’t believe they still recommend him to customers when you can read the yelp reviews and see that my experience is the norm.
Interesting how my original comments are not showing now.
Update (January 2025) We have had the tub for a year and would totally go through The Great Backyard Place again. We had one issue with a pipe fitting not being tight. The warranty process was smooth, quick and easy. The guy who came out for the repair was a GREAT guy who shared some other useful information with us. We have loved our tub and our experience at TGP. I can't recommend this place enough! About five years ago, I bought a hot tub after shopping around, and this store blew the competition away. Not only did they offer the best price and cutting-edge technology, but my sales rep, Ginger, was warm, professional, and refreshingly not pushy.
