In the middle of my cleaning, the dentist came in (I’ve never had the dentist look at my teeth before the cleaning is over…), quickly scanned my teeth and informed me I had a cavity that they could fill right then and there. I let the dentist know I didn’t have time that day and my cleaning resumed. My cleaning was paused again when a front desk staff member came in to show me the estimate for the cavity I told them I didn’t want filled that day. Everyone is wonderful here except there is a white lady at the front desk who always seems to have a bad attitude. For a second time, she was impatient and insensitive. They weren’t even busy. I love the dentist and all the hygienists, but I don’t want to deal with the front desk woman so feel compelled to find a new dentist. It’s disappointing.
I was looking for a new dentist after my previous dentist for the last 20 years retired. I tried one close to home that did not address my periodontal disease at all. Though I have to drive 50 minutes to come to this dental office, they came highly recommended. It was worth the drive! Everyone was so friendly and extremely professional. I’ve been getting dental X-rays and cleanings for over a decade, and unfortunately this was by far the most uncomfortable and rough experience I’ve had. The X-ray was quite aggressive movements, and made me super uncomfortable. After my filling, I noticed a long cut between my lip and gumline, which I’m assuming happened during the procedure. Not acceptable. I usually don’t write reviews, but people should be aware.
