I was robbed while at the pool. The manager told me I had to call the cops. The manager would not show the police the video recording of the incident.

The breakfast served in the morning needs to be looked into and revamped. Mandy, the assistant manager, was great. Turned what was a bad situation into an awesome night. The housekeeping Dept left something to be desired. If the worked this weekend, no one came to clean ours in 2 days nor collect dirty towels. They're the reason I gave you a 3 star rating.
It's so beautiful inside and the price is very affordable with many many things to do and see!!!
It's now known as the Travelodge but it was excellent value for the money! The rooms were spacious, indoor pool, 2 pool tables, an exercise room, a sauna, free newspapers... if we ever come back to Peoria, we'd definitely stay here again!!!
This was our second visit at the Grand Hotel. Although it was a great place for our grandsons grad party, it leaves a lot to be desired. Renovation is desperately needed. Confusion among staff was disheartening. We rented a space with tables and had to wait to set up while the overworked staff found clean tablecovers. Then they were faded and wrong size for tables. I have stayed here three times this year. The first two times I liked it,but yesterday was not one of them. I reserved a room with one bed smoking and it was not ready and the service was behind when I checked in so I had to settle for non-smoking. Then I went to the inside bar/restaurant to get some wings and I was told the cook had to step out for fifteen minutes for some reason. I wasn't happy about that. No heat 2 days...atrium cold as heck...pool even colder....my best friend almost arrested because she was sitting quietly in another room...while the cops kick out numerous band members from the night....and shes a problem....this hotel is the Travel lodge on brandywine in Peoria. ...
