RecommendedChicken Salad! I order it every time. There are a lot of great things on the menu (and my daughter lets me taste hers so I know they are great), but I can't help myself, I always order the chicken salad croissant.😍

Every time I come to Columbia I make it a point to visit this little gem. I always bring a cooler and take home the pimento cheese back to Florida.
I moved from NY, state not city, and have been looking for quality Italian foods with no luck. That was until today. Great selection of cheeses and meats like salami, cappy, sobrassada, etc. I even sampled their chicken salad. I found my home away from home. I will definitely be back on the weekends to try out their cafe.
We moved to SC in 2019 from NY. We had in NY the Italian deli on every corner. In SC, not one Italian deli or place that calls its self Italian restaurant. Well today we walked through the doors at The Gourmet Shop and found heaven. We had to pinch ourselves. All the pastry, deli meats, ohhh and the cheese. The wine selection, amazing! This place is a MUST visit. They even serve breakfast. We will now make this our every Sunday place to visit. Can not wait til next week! Thank you!!

It’s great.... nothing compares to a tradition of good food and flavors.
Food is fabulous and get place to pick up great kitchen items. Wine selection is also wonderful.
