Great spot, particularly the patio, with delicious food options. Would have been 5 stars but had to endure the waitress ranting about her anti vax views. Didn’t come here for the politics hun, keep that yourself please.
The cutest little spot in downtown Georgetown is The Golden Rule! I was seated in their outdoor patio which was very cute. My waitress was excellent and accommodating. Great cocktails - I ordered their new old fashioned. Classic steak frites dish that was cooked to perfection (medium rare) with bbq seasoned fries. Street parking can be difficult to find close to the restaurant so be prepared to walk! Not to worry as it's a beautiful downtown to explore with plenty of shops.
Nothing beats the carne Asada fries
The food and ambience was great! It’s great for a date night— dim lighting, cozy, great beverage selection. The menu has a little something for everyone. A special shoutout to Chef Ty who was kind enough to accommodate my mother in law’s dietary needs and still give her a delicious meal. He was so sweet and gracious about it.
