After having transitioned our kids to another school, I wanted to leave this review of how awesome Goddard is. First, I used the word “school” intentionally. Goddard is a school in my eyes. They have curriculum for every classroom no matter what age your kiddo is. I can truly see the differences from my kids to other kiddos. And don’t get me wrong, Im not saying my kids are the next Beethoven or Einstein, but I attribute a lot of their language skills, knowledge, and behavior to the caring teachers at Goddard. My son began school at 4 years old with Goddard off Byron Center. His first classroom was pre-school where he had 20 classmates. They use a conscious discipline model which we were very happy to learn about. There were activities used to help our child and us thrive thru the transitions to school mode. In Pre-K they followed a curriculum and school environment while also allowing room for plenty of play and nap time.
