I spent 3 years at the giving tree as both a resident then staff. I absolutely love this place, it became my home. It was the first time in a long time I had experienced stability, accountability, and safety. Donette and the managers at the time treated me with respect, love, and kindness. They believed in me until I could believe in myself, at the same time held me accountable for my actions. I am forever grateful for the giving tree, it saved my life!!!
