This was my favorite restaurant hands down and we live in Southern California. We dined here last night and I was a little disappointed. They sat us in the back, I was ok with it but my husband absolutely hated it. We started with the squash soup which was delicious!! Onto the fig & arugula salad we asked for a blue cheese instead of goat cheese (can’t stand) the waiter tells us he has to ask. I am so very disappointed. I have called to make reservations in the past and when I do, there has been something going on and we could not get in (private parties), so I was excited to call today to make reservations for my b-day next week. When I received a call back I was told that this really isn't a good restaurant for vegan options, but I could have a salad and I was told that vegans eat here, as the chef doesn't have anything on the menu, but does create vegan dishes. Really enjoyed our brunch. Signature hash was a big hit, jut wish there was more. Croque Madame was also excellent. Burger just the perfect remedy after 3 days of wine tasting! Service was excellent. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends and family!
I had not been to the girl & the fig in at least a decade. It hasn't changed. The food was beyond amazing, the service top-notch, and the fact that it was a perfect ending to a day of wine tasting in the Sonoma proves it's not lost it's incredible reputation of being one of the best restaurants in Sonoma.
Superb food, excellent service, great waitress and an absolutely gorgeous partner. ❤️❤️
This is the second time I dined in this restaurant, the atmosphere is so friendly and the service is awesome but most importantly is the food which is deliciously satisfying, the Duck Confit which is my first time to try is so tender, moist and juicy and not greasy, it was perfectly done. The Lavender Creme Brulee is so good. I will surely recommend this restaurant to others.
