Went to Blue Water (Gilmore Restaurants) with my family on 6-21-25. First of all, they sat us in a different area than what was reserved. Second, the service was extremely slow, took forever to get someone to take drink orders, then forever again with food orders. We were there 2 1/2 hours plus. Then on top of it all, Gilmore restaurants charge a recover tax (probably started during covid) of 3% claiming it supposed to keep prices down. Doubt if they gave their managers a raise. Super helpful and great personalities
Kirby Grill Room: Thinking I would support a local business and treat my wife and children to a fine dining experience, but this was a major disappointment. Walking into loud music and our waiter showing up in sneakers, jeans and a tee-shirt was a sign of worse things to come. My son ordered the Valentines weekend special, a medium well beef tenderloin with grilled shrimp, asparagus and potato.
