I cannot recommend The George enough! From the very first tour, I knew this venue was something special. The attention to detail is truly unmatched—every time I was in the space, I noticed new design elements that made the space feel so unique and intentional. A huge draw for us was that the George is already so beautiful that we really didn't need to go over the top with florals or additional decor, which saved us money in the end. Beautiful wedding venue
We are so happy with our experience having our wedding at The George & Madcap Lounge! We went with a unique plan for our day with a smaller ceremony and dinner for about 40 guests and then had a larger cocktail reception with about 120 guests total. All the spaces in the venue worked perfectly for this. We had a winter wedding and specifically chose this venue as it has so many perfect indoor photo locations. The staff were all so kind and helpful in making our day go perfectly! We also received many compliments on the food.
This might as well be several wedding venues all rolled into one. With a main floor, a basement, and even a rooftop, each space is singularly focused on creating it's own atmosphere. Mission accomplished. As an area wedding photographer I love that stepping from one room to another gives a whole new set of visually appealing opportunities to play with. Coolest, coziest and most lush basement in the city. Love all the furniture, and velvet, and nooks, and "secret" wings of art. Same vibe in the private rooms off the beautiful main reception space upstairs. A venue that will make your event feel extra special.
