My husband and I recently stayed here while visiting Napa for our anniversary. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find there was no staff available to assist with luggage, requiring us to carry our bags upstairs ourselves (stairs are only option, no elevator, lift, etc.) Our room was on the ground floor, and noise from other guests—particularly early in the morning—was disruptive, with frequent banging waking us around 7 a.m. each day. Stunning historic gem with a few timing and sound considerations. We stayed at The George from April 17–19, 2026, and it is a truly beautiful, nicely restored historic house. We were in Room 201, which was impressive—large with really tall ceilings, great lighting, and a beautiful bathroom. Marco did a great job with breakfast and the food was excellent. The George saved our anniversary stay in Napa! After experiencing noisy and uncomfortable accommodations at an inn on the river walk, we randomly discovered The George. Patty, the owner, and the staff welcomed us at the last minute for a wonderful night’s stay. This historic property is beautifully renovated with modern luxury.
