I wanted to stay somewhere in Napa to celebrate for our wedding anniversary and my birthday. When I saw The George online I thought that might be nice. When we arrived I could not believe how beautiful the grounds were. Colorful, immaculate manicured yard were pleasing to the eye. This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, over the years I have stayed in many hotels throughout the world both on business and for pleasure. So, why do I rate this hotel over everything else? First, we have location, a very pleasant quiet location a short pleasant walk from downtown Napa. On-site convenient complimentary parking. Charming stay, but some details missed - We recently stayed at The George and were truly impressed by the beautiful historic home and the walkable location. It’s a lovely place and we appreciated the quiet location and elegant touches throughout the property. That said, there were a few areas where the experience didn’t quite match the level of care you’d expect at this price point.
