I had a disappointing experience with the Geelong clinic. Most psychiatrists, nurses, doctors, and facilitators are excellent. The real issue is poor interdepartmental communication and what seems like cost-cutting at the expense of patient care. After leaving Geelong, I discovered a prescribed medication requiring a psychiatrist’s script hadn’t been returned. Was admitted to the clinic with a known issue that the clinic specialised in. When they realised I was too far in need and in my opinion I was not going to be a success story as I was a complex case I was discharged. With 1 hour’s notice. The Nursing staff were amazing. Especially Carrie, Amanda and Olivia. Management seriously need to look carefully about their motive operandi. Their KPIs cause more harm than good. I don’t recommend this place at all. Emerged from this so called 'mental health clinic' with significantly worse mental health. Cannot recommend this facility at all.

Had a concerning call from a friend who is currently a patient there at 1.40am in the morning, when I tried to follow up with staff at the clinic by phone immediately afterwards no-one answers, it just disconnects, you cannot leave a message. This is not a 24 hour service as advertised. I hope my friend does not die in their ‘care’..
