The Gathering Place is such a local gem. Whether you're into RPGs, board games, or just somewhere nice to get a pint, the Gathering Space supports all of your needs. So far, I've come once for their drop-in DnD games, and many times to choose from their giant board game assortment with friends. Both have been such a great time, and I find that the people at this bar have a tendency to be very friendly, courteous and kind, staff and patrons alike. Our bartender was great. There's a plethora of beers on tap. And the dice game to get a dollar for beer was a lot of fun. Karaoke was a lot of fun as well.
It’s a cool place, but the parking lot is always full when we get here (16 spaces) and the parking close to this place costs 25$. Not worth coming here, there’s more game shops with plenty of parking that offer the same experience.
Great staff, good beer and seltzers, holds competitive rules enforcement level events for magic, one piece and others. I am always happy to make the drive to come out.
