We were in search of a good sit down dinner after exploring the Sequoias all day, and saw this place. Doesn't look like much on the outside, and they were selling snow chains at the front desk as we walked in, so we didn't expect much. But OMG how surprised we were!! This is as good as any five star restaurant I've been in! EVERYTHING was delicious! Everything from Lobster to filet mignon to burgers... all cooked to perfection! We will be coming back whenever we visit the park again!!!
If you charge me $40 for a one day snow chain rental, you deserve one star.
Onion rings are to die for I go several times a year and always get the onion rings
My wife and i went to celebrate our first wedding anniversiery. Checked in on Sat and left Sunday afternoon. Our first time there and could’nt have been more pleased! From spending time in bar. Where owners,staff and the locals were a pleasure! Dinner was terrific. Then brunch on Sunday with endless champane! View of river sitting out on patio. Cant wait to go back!!!
It is beautifully located right below the Sequoia National Park. My meal was good. The soup however had a good flavor but it was barely warm, it needed to be a little hotter. I enjoyed my birthday dessert, it was yummy. My dad and I had a good view of the river. The price was a little higher than what you would want to pay, but you're paying for a nice view.
