Spent a wonderful 2 years at the Gateway, and it was great. Can't beat the location (right next to the train station, with lots of good restaurants within walking distance), and the staff is all quite helpful (Deidre, Segal, and Oshiro). I would definitely recommend this building to others.
I moved in 7 months ago and I love it! My aparment is a two bedroom so when I have overnight guests the have their own bed and bath. Everyone is very helpful. Deidre is the manager and what lady, always ready to answer any questions. Oshiro, he is the porter here every day helping maintain the building always with a smile and friendly hello. I don’t live here but I have been in and out as an assistant working for a resident. I felt I should point out just how lovely the building manager is as she has been so kind and helpful every time my work brings me to this location. The building is well kept up and cleanly in an area that is close to many walking locations. Most of the residents I’ve met have been very kind! Have no clue on information over the phone, would set up appointment which office would have no clue about and waste of time.
This place is great! Close to the train for easy commutes, in the middle of downtown for easy access to great restaurants, the building is well-kept and clean, the staff (Deidre in particular) are absolutely amazing, kind and thoughtful. 2 minute walk to the South Orange pool, beautiful parks, tennis - this place has it all.
