RecommendedI have been dealing with The Gas Store for over 12-13 yrs and have had several installations completed without a hitch. Very Professional - Clean and Timely on all installations. Gas Store prices are very reasonable considering this is a brick and mortar business that has to be profitable to stay in business. Great people to do work with - If they tell you they are going to do something - That's exactly what they do!
This store has a very nice selection of gas fireplaces. They install and service the lovely fireplaces they sell. A small family business with a big job to service so many, so may have to wait for service.
Run away from this place fast.... Not only do they REFUSE to do any returns / refunds, but they also jack up the price way beyond a reasonable amount. I purchased a "1950-001 Fireplace 24" Thermopile 750mv" from them for $50 bucks, found out I can get the EXACT SAME part online for 7.00 !!! Thats over a 500% increase! I brought it back the next day, because it was the wrong part / wasnt used, and they still refused to refund my money. Don't buy from here. You can't return if you don't need even though it doesn't say anywhere no returns. I bought a remote that I didn't need and it only says on the invoice there's a restocking fee but not that there's a no return policy.
Brian just installed stove and it is just what I needed. He was professional, friendly and cleaned up his mess completely. Could not be more pleased with he and his wife when at the store when I was looking a couple of months ago. S. Roberts
I tried to go to this store yesterday. I arrived at 10:30am and it was closed. The sign said be back at 11:00am. I left and looked at other retailers for a wood stove. After going to three other places I tried calling four times to see if they were open yet and nobody answered the phone. I was very frustrated with their way of doing business and ended up buying my stove at Ace Hardware in Stephen's City.
I never used this business. I called and the lady quoted me a price and then up it after I tried to ask some more questions.I could see that she did not want to do an business with us. Very disturbing since we have never met. Would have liked to write a good review but did really get a chance to work with this company. So first impressions are important. It sounded like The Gas Store wanted any new customers.
AWESOME place and people. I having been dealing with Brian for years. The go to place. Highly recommend!!!!
