We tried this restaurant today and boy what a disappointment , the server was great the food was subpar. My husband ordered a French dip and it had about 3 pieces of meat on it so basically he had a bread sandwich , I got the smash burger and it was smothered in mayo and no taste and the meat looked 5 hours old, not sure where the 4.4 review came from.
Returning to the East Coast from Chicago we needed a late dinner. The Garrison had great reviews. It did not disappoint. From Ms Millie serving through the finale of dinner. Cool atmosphere. We did Brussel sprouts with a hot honey hot sauce starter with kielbasa and Sourkrought entree. The other party did salmon salad. The warm german potato salad was similar to grandmoms It was prepared perfectly. Brussels were pan seared so dont expect soft steamed. Wonder ful all around.
