I have been a resident of this apartment building since 2021, and I am deeply disappointed with how it has deteriorated over time. Since October 2024, the elevators have been breaking down weekly. It’s become a regular occurrence for residents to get stuck in the elevators, leading to frequent visits from the fire department. Just this morning, I was jolted awake at 5:50 AM on a Sunday by a fire alarm. I’ve lived here since 2021 and it’s gone downhill. There are 2 elevators and neither of them work. Maintenance is a joke, and they overcharge you for rent. Walking up nine flights of stairs is laughable when you pay over $1,300. Do not recommend in the slightest.
Took a tour with Deborah and she was so sweet! It was between here and another place and Deborah alone would’ve sold it to me but unfortunately I’m choosing somewhere else. But Deborah needs to be recognized!! Beautiful building too!
Loved it at the Garfield!! Was there for 3yrs til I relocated again for work. Living in Downtown with everything mostly aisle assessable via walking was great. The leasing team and concierge were 10/10 from when I moved in to I moved out. They have a gem w/Diana. Would recommend to anyone who is moving to the Cleveland Area!
Disregard any of the older negative reviews. The management at The Garfield has put in a tremendous effort to change the negative things from the past. I am very happy with my choice to live in this building. The amenities are clean and up to date. The units are newly remodeled (I was considering a few other nearby buildings in downtown- I ultimately chose the Garfield because of the fresh remodel and nice quality finishings).
