We lived in our apartment at the Gardens for three years and, like other reviewers have mentioned, there’s a lot to appreciate: the apartments have charm, the neighborhood is great, and the maintenance and cleaning staff are truly wonderful—responsive, kind, and hardworking. That said, our overall experience with Borger Residential left us feeling more like a revenue source than valued tenants. I've been here for a few months now and really love it. The neighborhood is beautiful, walkable, and has great transit options. The complex itself is made up of older buildings spread across a few blocks with lovely landscaping and a lot of places to walk or sit outside. Though there are squeaky floors and you won't get hospital silence in an older building, you will get beautiful hardwood floors, tons of windows, and a lot of greenery outside. Truly wonderful place to live in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of a farmers market, public library, coffee shops, public transportation and more! Robin and Alex are largely responsible for making us feel as if we are part of a community when we are home--all the praise in these reviews is well deserved!
