The apartment overall is satisfactory and maintenance is good. The biggest issue I’ve had here is the Noise! As many others have mentioned the walls are very thin. I am on the second floor and I hear everything above and below me! Would not recommend especially for those that work from home or just like a quiet environment period. I know that noise comes with apartment living but at a point it’s excessive.
My experience living here started out great. However, recently the quality of this complex has gone down tremendously. First, there is a gate to get in and out of the community. For weeks now, the key fobs that they gave us have stopped working to let us in. The code they gave us to punch in also does not work. We have to either wait for another resident to let us in or go in through the exit when someone leaves. I lived here for just over two years: Maintenance was stellar, the apartments are fine if a bit small. The rent is astronomical considering what you get, and it will be raised every single year. The visitor parking situation is bordering on a dictatorship so if you have guests beware. If you want to live here, keep on top of submitting maintenance requests (especially pest control) and review the lease and fees carefully.
As a senior citizen who has owned their own home for more than fifty years, moving to an apartment complex was a bit frightening. I could have tried a 55 and over place, but wanted to be closer to my daughter’s home. The Parq at Cross Creek has been a nice surprise.
