SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERNS - Crew arrived impaired, damaged furniture, now ignoring claims. I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by this company. I worked with Jennifer to plan a move specifically for large furniture and TVs. Not only did the crew arrive late without notice, but they also smelled strongly of alcohol and marijuana—a major safety and liability concern. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Furniture Taxi and the way my damage claim has been handled. During my recent move, the movers damaged my marble dining table, a significant piece of furniture valued at approximately $1,800, with the marble tabletop alone costing over $900. To make matters worse, the crew failed to properly secure the table by not reinstalling the screws that connect the marble top to the base, and no one informed me the table had been left in an unsafe condition. Our move started off fantastic when our the team showed up on time, with a positive attitude, ready to work. All three gentlemen were professional and efficient - working hard to complete our move. Excellent service. On time, handles your stuff with care! Great attitudes and service! Oh, and the price was so reasonable that I tipped each driver $50.00! If you’re looking for a moving company that treats your stuff like it’s theirs, look no further!!!
