I went to shop at Fresh Market yesterday. Their sign in front required everyone entering to wear a mask. Inside there were lots of people who did not have masks on and there was no one making any attempt to enforce their rule. Everyone was being waited on.
RecommendedHad the meats I needed during this time of the a shortage due to this scary virus!
We love this store & shop there for meat & speciality items. Yesterday we stopped by to pick-up some chicken & were taken back by the open self-serve bulk aisle & the open self-serve olive/speciality bar. In light of the COVID-19 these two areas should be shutdown. We certainly had an expectation that the Fresh Market would activate virus prevention protocols in alignment with the other food retailers.
Everything looked crusty and dry not fresh or kept up at all from the flowers to the deli and bakery. I was very dissappointed!!
This is the most outstanding market in Johnson City. The food is always fresh-the vegetables and fruits are bright and as if they just came off the plant itself! i am never disappointed in the selection at Fresh Market! What takes it over the top, however, is the staff-every single employee there is happy-happy to help, yes, but just happy to be there. Unusually good selection of hard-find-foods foods you can't get in most supermarkets of east Tennessee.
Love this place. Especially their bakery department, it is Top notch!
