Everything was wonderful when we finally got it. Don’t go there if you are in a hurry!!
The place is gorgeous and a great spot, and normally has decent service. But today we waited over an hour to get our food, as did most other patrons. Which was really disappointing after we talked up this place to our guests and brought them to try this spot. We are leaving annoyed and disappointed. Our waitress even rolled her eyes at us. Edit: Before leaving I spoke with the manager, Crystal, and she was very kind and apologetic. I appreciated the way she handled the situation greatly.
I took my wife there to get a dessert from Norman Love. We would usually go to one of his stores in Fort Myers but we live in the Cape. They were out of most desserts as I know they are not made there. We got their last caramel chocolate and then a white chocolate as they said it was buy one get one. We understood exactly why it was buy one get one as they were absolutely horrible. It was stale and hard to put the fork through the dessert. First visit was excellent. Food excellent. Service slow. Staff were an interesting mix, with various roles/duties. Second visit had dreadful service. Third visit was good . The food [always freshly prepared] was very good. Plenty customers happy to wait for food and drinks. A laid back establishment which suits Cape Coral. Cleanly popular and deserves a visit.
