The restaurant was very nice. The service was excellent. The food was just ok. We ordered escargot, which we normally love. It was tasteless. And it had carrots diced up in the butter sauce. Who ever heard of CARROTS in an escargot garlic butter sauce??! Also, the garlic butter sauce was missing the garlic, and was flavorless. The toast served with it was hard as a rock, and there was barely enough sauce to dip it in anyway. Maybe there would have been more sauce if it hadn’t been crammed with carrots. As always this place never ceases to amaze me. Excellent food, Excellent service and just a perfect atmosphere for an enjoyable dinner. Having spend many years in Atlanta - its difficult to find a restaurant that makes the 5 star list for me but this one - "top notch"!!! Keep up the great work guys.
Great atmosphere, excellent staff, amazing food!
Stopped in for wine and nibbles and loved the cozy bar atmosphere. The wine selection, food and service was wonderful. Looking forward to going back and getting the full experience!!
It is a special treat to have supper at the French Goat, and every time we go we have an amazing evening- the food is spectacular, but the staff, service, and atmosphere make it even more so. We are so lucky to have this restaurant in Lewisburg.
