Just fantastic! I had been hearing great things about The French Goat, so they had a lot to live up to, new chef and all. Exceeded my already high expectations. The duck confit was superb. Their small plates (salads, charcuterie... heck, even the bread and butter) were delectable. Desserts were amazing too. Our party of 6 didn't leave a crumb behind. Restaurant was absolutely packed by the way, yet everything came out on time. Service was A+.
Brunch today was amazing. Eggs Benedict like dish made with duck confit. Best I have ever had. Can't wait for next Sunday to have it again. All at our table loved the soups, salad, and burgers. Awesome menu.

We were so pleased with this delightful new restaurant tucked away in Lewisburg WVA not far from the Green Briar. All six of us enjoyed our meal. I had the duck confit which matched a similar dish I had in Paris in September. Another hit was the special of a pork chop with a savory bread pudding. The food is locally sourced.
