House salad was good but the advertised pumpkin seeds were missing and the advertised cheese was almost no existent
Went there for a dinner party. The service was very good, but extremely slow. Something that should have took an hour to get a dinner took three and a half hours. I tried most of everybody's meal and frankly. It was just very disappointing, i don't think they had a good chef that night or something. But I ended up having a stake and I would rather have gone to state maine or to montana's they would have cooked it on point.
Absolutely loved The French in Hamilton, and estastic they opened another locaiton. The French in Cambridge's vibe and decor are more stunning, open and inviting than the Hamilton edition. The food is outstanding, the cocktails excellent. Service is friendly and quick. If anyone remotely close to restaurant's vicinity asks me to meet up for a meal, I always pick The French (already been three times...!). Highly recommended if you've never been.
Really enjoyed our meal here after a play and to celebrate my birthday. The staff were very nice. The food was wonderful and so flavourful. Dessert was amazing! A nice selection on the menu.
