Food was excellent. They were short-handed so the service was incredibly slow, but I don't blame the servers for that. It is one large room and it's very loud with people talking, dishes and silverware changing, and the overhead music is quite loud.
I visited the Fountain Lounge inside The Roosevelt New Orleans for dinner during my stay, and it was a great experience. Not only is it convenient when you’re staying at the hotel and don’t feel like venturing back out into the city, but the food is genuinely delicious. Service d’une lenteur inimaginable, seules 1 ou 2 personnes courent partout tandis que les autres semblent fuir les clients et se balader entre les tables. Il y a clairement un problème de management et de formation. Absolutely outstanding! The fried chicken and honey biscuits are AMAZING
I came in here with a friend at 7:45pm today. By the time we finally got our order, it was past 9pm. That alone should tell you what you need to know about this place. But to add to it, when we first got here, they made us wait before we were sat down even though half the tables were empty (not cleaned up). The food wasn't bad, however, it also wasn't worth an hour wait. The waitress's explanation to why orders being late was "there was a big order before you".
