The Forum, a.k.a. Great Western Forum is one of the area's entertainment hotspots. Former home of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Kings, the Forum now frequently hosts boxing matches, rock concerts with performers such as Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Stevie Wonder, and other miscellaneous events. The glitzy, backlit Roman architecture seems a little out of place in Los Angeles, but it has its charms. As the Forum seats as many as 18,000 people, parking can be a little tough, so be prepared.

Where do I start?? At The Fabulous Forum, I saw Queen (thank you Angela Frazzitta (RIP) for turning me onto that band!!! every night they were there. Rod Stewart every time he was there. And one of the most memorable was the benefit concert for Nicaraguan earthquake victims. It was opened by Cheech and Chong, then Santana, then the Rolling Stones!!! It was Awesome!!!!
