The Forum, a.k.a. Great Western Forum is one of the area's entertainment hotspots. Former home of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Kings, the Forum now frequently hosts boxing matches, rock concerts with performers such as Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Stevie Wonder, and other miscellaneous events. The glitzy, backlit Roman architecture seems a little out of place in Los Angeles, but it has its charms. As the Forum seats as many as 18,000 people, parking can be a little tough, so be prepared.

My daughter and I went there in opening night with the Eagles performing. Now being new, you have to expect some glitches, but either the fancy, brand spanking-new drink dispensers did not work properly or the staff were not properly trained and/or they just had no idea what they were doing! My bigger concern was that the seats were too close together for any reasonable leg room. Both my daughter and I are between 5'4 & 5'5 and we felt cramped, so I feel sorry for any long-legged ticket holders!
