Best in the Mountains wish they were open year round
Delicious, substantial breakfasts and burgers with all the trimmings. Ample grocery market, clothing, and Bass Lake memorabilia on this (camping) side of the lake. Wonderfully old school; that is, when you open the squeeky screen door and enter, you are transported to a simpler, more authentic time. First class people work here and make you feel special, no matter how busy the place may be. Dining patio is pooch-friendly. A must-visit.

I love there sourdough double cheese burger it's worth the trip up to the lake just for that.

Best memories. . .always pick up a magnet souvenir after our meal. Always a great time....I hope they still give you a piece of bazooka bubble gum! That's the best!
