While driving my daughter from Southern CA to CU Boulder, our 2005 MBZ SLK 350 broke down in Grand Junction in the late evening - it lost all of its oil and couldn't be driven - luckily we made it to a truck stop where it could be parked overnight. I called Steve in the morning, explained our situation, and he immediately said for us to bring the car to him. Our '84 Volkswagen Vanagon stopped running while on a roadtrip in Moab, UT. We eventually ended up at The Foreign aid in Grand Junction. On short notice, Steve, the owner, went out of his way to fit us in the next morning, despite how busy they were. He had us in the shop by 8am. These guys know their way around Volkswagens, BMWs, and other imports. Please do not ever go to this mechanic. I have never in my life had such a horrible experience with a business owner or with a mechanic. We brought our car to him and he ruined the leather seat and then called us liars. I have driven foreign cars my entire life, and never once had a situation where the mechanic actually made the car worse than when we brought it in. We are about to be in a lawsuit and you do not need this in your life. There are far too many mechanics out there to get caught up with this one. Message us if y... read more
