Fixed my feet and I feel soo much better! Great doctors with many clinics to choose from!
To get my health insurance to pay for my custom foot orthotics i need a quote from a orthotist who will provide me with them & a written prescription from a doctor who is not associated with the orthotist to avoid a conflict of interest. I came in & paid their full asking price to see Dr. Schnoor & my request of him was to provide me with a written prescription. Buyer beware. These insoles are hard and not easy to walk in. I tried for 6 months before I had to remove them. They don’t make them onsite. Go elsewhere like BIOPED where they make them onsite. Same price. I literally walk on clouds and feel great. The foot institute just wants your money then they don’t follow up on their junk. Lame!!
I was accused of trying to commit insurance fraud by Dr. Brent Young after returning custom-made orthotics. God, I should have taken a picture of them and posted it here. The flimsiest piece of plastic you can imagine, worth 650 CAD. Instead of admitting that they didn’t work and offering to remake or adjust them somehow, he kept mumbling medical terminology.
