I wanted to share a really meaningful experience I had at Flying Biscuit Cafe. During my visit, there was a woman clearly going through a difficult mental health episode, and it created a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone inside and outside of the restaurant. The customer service that I received today from this location was absolutely amazing. I didn't get the lady's name at the front, behind the bar, but she is phenomenal.
Came in on a Saturday morning for breakfast. They were busy as any breakfast restaurant would be on a Saturday morning. After sitting there for a half an hour watching people get served that came in after me I ended up leaving. I should have caught the hint when the other table that probably sat there for a long time with their water ended up leaving as well. I couldn't even get the water and silverware.
Underwhelming and over priced for what you get. Everything tasted fine. The service was good. But you don’t get what you pay for. And the presentation is underwhelming. I ordered avocado toast with salmon and what I got was a thin piece of bread with what look like guacamole spread on top and little tiny crumbles of salmon, that’s it.
