Quite disappointed. I worked here, years ago. Finally convinced my boyfriend to come back here after multiple bad Togo experiences, but tonight we ordered fried pickles and they were just not what they used to be, then order the Brisket sandwich which had more fat than meat, I got the stuffed Baker and it was burnt. We finally got our tab and two beers were over $25!!!! Ridiculous. Loved this place so much.....my favorite restaurant is a far cry from what it used to be. What happened????
Unfortunately we didn’t even get a chance to have the food try to make up for the terrible front staff service. It was our first time here and we were quoted a 20-25 minute wait after 35 minutes with people waiting in front us who were told they were next. 2 teenagers walked in and were immediately sat. Went in today for an early dinner... food and service (Eddie) was amazing!
We have been to The Flying Pig maybe three times. The food is very good and the restaurant is set up nicely. It is only down the street from our house . Last time we were there we sat at the bar thinking we might get better service. We were wrong. The bartenders like the servers don't acknowledge their guests. They don't clear your plates away even at the bar. You have to try to catch eye contact for service. Not going back!
Just got a complementary bread basket because we have been waiting an HOUR for our food. Still waiting.......... No manager in sight. Husband and I are very hungry. Wanted to take food we wanted to try home but we don't want to wait another hour for cheese steak rolls. Oh and while we waited, we were freezing. Other guests were frrezing too. Server was nice.
