Beautiful theatre! I have danced on this stage many times! Amazing art deco designs! Nice bar. Watched Joe Bonamassa from the Loge. Great seats!
Easy parking, great venue. long lines for drinks and amount charged for drinks varied immensely.
I am concert freak and go to concert all over florida. The Florida theatre is by far my favorite venue !! DON-LOVE
This is a beautiful venue with great acoustics. I have seen many, many concerts here and I am never disappointed. It is a gorgeous and historic theater and we have never had bad sound. The only problem is the view and the climb to the uppermost seats which are steep and have no railing. Get lower seats and no problem. Cheers
We went to see Joe's B...Band last night. INCREDIBLE TALENT...GREAT SHOW... I have not been in the Florida Theatre in yrs. Historical, little tight in seating..Not too easy to find your seats. WILL GO BACK !! THANKS FOR THE SECURITY GUYS...Parking was easy...MY HUSBAND WAS A HAPPY MAN...GOT TO SEE JOE'S INCREDIBLE GUITAR PLAYING..
I loved it I thought it was one of the best concert Halls that I've ever been to is not a bad seat in the place I would recommend it to anybody parking is easy no problems at all thank you
One of my favorite venues in Jacksonville! Not bad seat in the house. The acoustics is amazing. The staff is always friendly and courteous.
We attended Sleeping Beauty last night at Florida Theatre. The show was wonderful--what we could see of it. The "S.A.F.E." security guy on the left side of the balcony was walking back and forth and stopping in front of people's seats for the entire second and third acts. I saw more of his back than I saw of the dancers. I didn't buy tickets to deal with that. I get that he was trying to catch people taking photos of the performance, but that was ridiculous. It was just a wonderful experience all around from my seating, talented performers, stage decorations, costumes, and safety check.
