Disappointed that I get to keep living with this apparently invisible floaters. Such is life, though, am I right? In real life, things regress to the mean, so here’s a middle of the road rating to reflect my overall experience.

I have struggled with eye floaters for about eight years. With my PhD program approaching, I found it nearly impossible to read, and I was seriously considering a vitrectomy. That was when I sought help from Dr. Johnson. Thanks to his YAG laser treatment, the floaters that had tormented me for so long are gone, and the few that remain are well-managed with Atropine eye drops. Dr. Johnson has truly given me a new life. I would like to express my deepest and most sincere gratitude to him.

Absolutely fantastic experience meeting with Dr. Johnson in person at his practice. I was fortunate enough to be able to travel to Arlington and have my floaters evaluated. He was able to treat my right eye which had a "Weiss ring." I had a follow up session on day two. The vision in this eye is remarkably improved from when I arrived. Dr. Johnson is very transparent and open about managing expectations. He is also very thorough in explaining the condition and procedure. Some formalities on travel: His practice is located in... read more

I went to an Ophthalmologist the next day, and he ruled out any retinal tear and said the eye was good. He said that my brain will send a message that seeing the floater is unimportant, and in 5-6 months, I would not notice it. It was so bad when I was reading, I would be startled and think a cat or rat was in my peripheral vision (I don’t have either in my home)... read more

Compassionate, kind, honest and professional. Dr Johnson is a truly great human being, who restored my vision with his fantastic laser vitreolysis treatment. I had been suffering with large clouds of floaters for years. Despite watching Dr Johnson's videos over many years, I wasn't in a position to be able to travel from England until now. Fortunately, I decided to improve the quality of my life without the risks of invasive surgery. Dr Johnson provided this with his laser. I returned to the UK today. I would say that there'... read more
