My husband and I loved this place! It's in a charming house with a relaxed atmosphere, a foot bath in the lobby, and a knowledgeable and helpful staff. My husband and I enjoyed the float even more than we thought we would. It took me to a stage of relaxation that I try to reach with meditation, but have yet to accomplish.
This is my first time visiting. I will admit being black sometimes I feel uncomfortable going to certain places. But when I get the courage to go I end up always feeling welcomed. This was the case. I used a Groupon coupon. It was easy to redeem. I pulled into the lot and I was so happy it was a parking spot available because I would be nervous trying to find a park on the street. Clean,friendly and homey feel.
The massages and floats are the best in Portland. I have had massages from 4 of the licensed massage therapists and all of them were great, but if course I do have my favorite. The float tanks are big enough to accommodate my 6'2" body. There is a private shower in the float room for washing the salt of afterwards. Towel, earplugs, and a bathrobe are included in the room, the bathrobe in case you have a massage scheduled afterwards. I got a 60 minute float session on Groupon. I can’t redeem it via Groupon so when I saw an ad on Facebook, I mentioned that. I was told to call the office to set it up. I called 4 times today (Monday 8/11) and I never got a call back. Left several messages. I’m about to contact Groupon and ask for my money back, as the merchant is ghosting me. How this place has a 4.8 is beyond me.
