The Fitzroy servers and host staff are phenomenal. I am a person with dietary needs. They were knowledgeable and ensured I got what I needed. The food came out quickly and hot. It was also tasty! I had the shrimp and lump crab salad and fried zucchini (both delicious). The drinks from the bar were well made. We also had the lump crab spaghettii, also delicious. I definitely recommend (if I lived in Charlottesville the Fitzroy would be on my repeats).
Classic place. Great cocktails, menu and professional wait staff. They know what they are doing.
Had a nice meal here with friends for a UVA reunion, unfortunately when we got back to our hotel I noticed they had charged the 4 of us a 20% tip and we missed it. We tipped as usual and our server got a 40% tip. The service was not great to begin with, what a disappointment. I reached out to the restaurant via email, no response.
