I loved living here and the only reason I left was covid. We LOVED the amenities, and walking to the grocery was still awesome even in the heat. Basically it wasn't too far to "catch some AC" before sweating profusely. I had a beach cart that we would take shopping. On one side is Duckweed which was way different when I lived there, but still super cool. I’m not the type who usually writes reviews, but as I was apartment searching in SC due to work, I wanted to know how seriously I should take the negative reviews which leads me to this. The Fitz is honestly the best apartment I’ve lived in and I will miss it so dearly. We have lived at The Fitzgerald for approx 1 mth now. Hisham made our move-in seamless, from orientation, to recommending movers, to the moving in process. All members of the team are hospitable and we received a thoughtful welcome gift gesture on arrival. During the first 2wks our refrigerator was not cooling/freezing effectively, maintenance was notified and promptly addressed the issue by providing us with a replacement refrigerator which works.
