Great food, super friendly and helpful staff, comfortable-but-nice atmosphere...our visit for a late Saturday lunch was simply delightful. Our visit to Pensacola definitely benefitted from The Fishing Hole.
The food is good but the waitress who brought the food out had a smart mouth.She came to the table and did say she would bring his fries out then he asked where is my fries.She said "did you not hear me"?I told him she said she will bring them out.She then said"I'm glad somebody heard me"then walked off.That is not how you treat your customers.I don't think you will get my business anymore.
First off is their tasty smoked tuna dip with pita chips....you have to start off with this...yummy! Their fried cat fish is the best around and special hushpuppies they make are delicious! Also had a side of slaw ...very good! You can also have your fish blackened or grilled instead of fried. Great service, clean place locally owned. You'll be glad you went!
Excellent food and great service! I recommend the bacon-wrapped broiled shrimp. You will think you have died and gone to heaven.
Shrimp and crab chowder a must get 5 stars, 6 large fried shrimp for an appitzer was a true delight, finished with the blacked Mai Mai imperal salad which was worth bragging about to your friend. Left full and feeling great - all together it was 2 thumbs up! Family owned & operated....
Awesome food and we really enjoyed the experience. Our waiter really made it great because for any 8-year old to be a better waiter than 2/3 of the adults we've had truly speaks well for him. He earned a good tip and they earned customers. Thanks
