RecommendedI had a Mac'n'cheese skillet with sausage and it was delicious. My wife got some brisket, and the smoke on that meat is awesome. This restaurant is worth an hour drive easily. I am definitely returning to Farmville for this restaurant.
I am in the area for work and was told by a coworker to give The Fishin’ Pig a try. Needless to say I was not disappointed. I ordered the pulled pork platter and had fried pickles and I have to say it was the best tasting BBQ I’ve ever had. The pork was very tender and the fried pickles were absolutely amazing. I can see myself coming back in the very near future.
placed a lunch order on Wayfast today. Fish came fried instead of broiled. Called The Fishin Pig and they remade the order and even delivered it! Great Service and Great Food!
We were greeted from the very beginning with smiles , and everyone made us feel welcome. The waitress Lexi was very sweet, and made sure we never ran out of drinks. She was very patient, very upbeat and kind. We didn't have to wait long for our meals, and the food was AMAZING!! Our children even said Fishin' Pig is their new favorite place.
Stopped in with the family after visiting The High Bridge Trails. Excellent food. Excellent portions. Excellent service. Brisket is great. Pork and chicken bbq is great. Kids loved it too.
love this place. they are motorcycle friendly and definately biker friendly. Lisa and Marcy took great care of our small group of four. couldn't have asked for a nice outing. we surely will be back.

one of those places you might not think twice about when you look at it. but the food is fantastic cozy little out-of-the-way Eatery just outside Farmville.
