Absolutely the worst meal I’ve eaten in along time.french onion soup was bland shrimp scampi was nothing but butter and uncooked garlic. Price was high but wouldn’t have minded paying for food but quality was not there. I’m sorry to complain because I rarely do. But we drove from erie pa for that.

Good food! I had the Peppered Tuna & the king crab. 🦀. The crab was tasty & the cooked to perfection. The only downside was the terrible service. The food is worth it, but be prepared to be on "island time" at this fish house.

Took a chance without a reservation and sat in the bar area as they were very busy. The bartender was our server and despite being terribly busy, still attended to us very well. My husband had the lamb shank and I had the walleye-both were truly amazing! We enjoyed the fun fishy decor, and had a wonderful evening!

I've been coming up to Emmet and Cheboygan counties since 1954 and have eaten at about every restaurant in those two counties. My culinary experience at The Fish was the absolute worst I've had in the area. Tasteless and dry Walleye, tiny portions of Walleye and Whitefish with cold vegetables - all for $92+. It took over an hour to get the food after ordering. Will never go back and suggest you avoid this place like the plague. If you really want to have good local fish, try the Douglas Lake Bar in Pellston or the Legs Inn i... read more

Very nice place. Food was decent but a tad overpriced. I had the whitefish. Although it was good and prepared perfectly, it didn't have the WOW factor. As in, I could definitely make it at home. I would very much like to try another dish. Good wine and bread. Staff very pleasant.

Sadly this place has gone downhill since our last visit two years ago. Service was very slow, they didn't have enough menus for each person at our table (when does that ever happen?) and the food was very mediocre bordering on bad. Perch sandwich was plain perch on a bun. No lettuce, tomato, nothing. The fish in the fish tacos was not properly deboned. I would not recommend this restaurant.

We loved the squash blossoms. Delicious!! I enjoyed the walleye and my husband had the perch dinner. We will definitely return next time we are in the area.
