We purchased a QuadraFire wood stove about 30 years ago. We saved so much money on heating fuel ($ thousands) and our house was very warm. Best investment ever! EVER! This year we replaced our old wood stove with a pellet stove. Wood stove was shot! I thought that it would be less work. I was wrong. The pellet stove is very temperamental.
