Got turned away and they would not honor my booking due to a “system error” even though I paid and traveled all the way there. Even though it was not due to an error on my end I still had to suffer for it because neither they nor Priceline would take accountability. The employees at the front desk were pretty nice but were unable to be of much help. Would not recommend this experience on anyone.
I want to like this hotel more, but the neighborhood is kinda sketchy and there is so much waste. I wait for 10 minutes for the water to heat up for a shower while running full blast. California is terrible about that and keeping rooms at 68°. How incredibly wasteful. Try 72° and if someone wants it cooler they can figure out how to do that. Fortunately they don’t have the automatic turning on lights to save more energy. The restaurant is good but pricey.
Stayed here several times and had a great experience with the rooms and location. That was until my upcoming visit. I got a call the night before at 8:00 PM that they were cancelling my reservation because they had overbooked and had no rooms available. I travel for work quite often and in the 20 years of my travel I have never had this happen.
