Google and the website indicated this place would be open at 1 pm on a Friday, but it was closed and no sign or anything. So call ahead, we took a decent detour on our road trip to try this place out so it was a bummer
Food was ok. Lobster Bisque was different, maybe because we're not from NE. The other food was pretty good. Shrimp tacos were yummy. Order food at the shack, take it to tables by the water. Right by a little ferry station on the river. The girls working were nice. They were out of several items which was a little disappointing. Overall not bad, I'd go back again.
Very cute place. Great view. Every things taste great. I would love to have prawns the same size as the platter for the po'boy. Great onion rings and fries. Little kids can be picky, i would suggest frying the chicken tenders hard. The only downside was no shred of meat in the lobster bisque.
I absolutely loved this place! From what I can tell, there is no inside dining (so it's definitely weather permitting) but lucky for us, we went on the most beautiful day. It's located right on the river and is in the absolute best location. It's literally beautiful here. It was quiet, despite it being full when we arrived- meaning the clientele were all respectful and there was no music playing, no loud conversations, nothing obnoxious (which I think is really important when you're all outside trying to appreciate the view)... read more
