Beware the bait and switch. The leasing office is beautiful and agents are very friendly. The agent gave me a tour of building 1301, and the apartment and building were nice. I was excited to move in. I choose an apartment in 1441 assuming all the buildings would be maintained at the same level. Wrong! I don’t know if this is intentional, or if the leasing agents have never walked through the other buildings. I can’t believe how bad the reviews are for this place!!! I just had to chime in with a historical footnote. I lived here in 1994-1996 and it was actually a good place to live. It was called The Atrium back then and it was fairly new. At that time, there was only 1 building. Our unit was on the back side, 2nd floor, and looked out over what was essentially a small forest, extending down to the lake. In the winter the hot water does not work consistently for a hot shower. The heat in the apartment is either way too hot in the spirng, summer, and fall or too cold in the winter and there is no way to regulate it, and the only heat source that you can control which comes from a AC/Heat mounted into the wall in the bedroom starting emitting carbon monoxide when we turned it on and all the alarms went off. The second I got my keys one of the leasing office staff came with me to look at the apartment. I told her something that need fixing and pointed it out to her. She told me to email her a list of things I needed to get fixed and she would take care of it. She never gave me a check list when you first moved in to an apartment to let them now what needs done.
