This is a small, quirky restaurant with style and a bit of class. A total whore house vibe, to be certain, but nothing too over-the-top. You could bring a date or your grandma, and not feel weird about it. The food is very good, and the staff are extremely friendly without being fake. Prices are a bit on the high side, but correlate well with the quality of the food and the ambiance. Definitely one of Oakland’s little treasures.
