The Fat Lady is Awesome, especially with the right people!!!
The first impression when we walked in the door, the "lady" who greeted us was super rude and judgemental, offered my daughter and I a seat at the bar to eat, there was a whole restaurant of tables available, looked at us up and down and did nothing to make us feel comfortable! The food was great, our waitress was awesome too, but definitely got a bad taste from the skinny blonde at the front door
A friend and I stumbled on The Fat Lady quite by chance: lost and becoming cranky from hypoglycemia, I said that surely this place was meant for us! Had a delicious burger and a bit of a fright in the ladies' room. Will most definitely recommend it to anyone who finds themselves wandering the streets of Oakland!
