Truly delicious and quaint.
We had a wonderful experience at the Farmhouse on Saturday evening. It was an early dinner for 3. Attentive service from the moment we walked through the door. I had the spicy jalapeño ginger beer mocktail, the Free bird chicken and the Barnyard brownie. Every bite was delicious. The chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender and the lemon jus should be sold by the glass! We’re new Needham residents and we’ll be repeat Farmhouse guests.
The service was great, but the food was mediocre. The fish tacos were heavily fried and became dry. The chicken Milanese had the same problem. The flan wasn’t really a flan and was more like a cheese cake. The halibut and the salads were good.
My family & I went on a Saturday night May 30th. It was crowded but not packed & the atmosphere was pleasant & relaxing. Some of the staff seemed to be very inexperienced & ‘lost’ as to what to do. I ordered a non meat dish & it came with chicken so I sent it back. I was just going to eat a little more salad that my son had gotten but my daughter-in-law ordered me some mashed potatoes.
